Telah dilakukan perancangan dan karakterisasi komponen mesin pemotong penggoreng singkong otomatis. Perancangan terdiri dari pisau bentuk alat. Karakterisasi fotodioda laser dot sebagai pendeteksi singkong, motor stepper pengaduk penggorengan, linear aktuator pengangkat hasil program text to speech indikator telah masak. Arduino Uno digunakan mikrokontroller yang mengontrol sistem keseluruhan. Kapasitas direncanakan adalah 79,8 kg.menit dengan putaran akhir 133 rpm kekuatan 1 HP. Fotodioda dapat mendeteksi pada jarak 14 cm, berputar sesuai sudut deprogram mengangkat beban maksimal 800 N. Hasil analisa teknikal menunjukkan bahwa pisau, transmisi, elektrikal aman.
